Scholarships are all about opportunity. Knowing the right answer to an easy question can be all that you need to secure more money for school. Take for example, one of Digital Responsibility’s scholarship questions and see if you could answer them coherently. Got that important text from your friend while you are driving in the car? Do you know the number one cause of car accidents? How often do you get distracted while you are driving? What do you do when you get a text message while you are at the wheel? The dangers of texting and driving are unimaginable and for the last couple of years we have focused on spreading the word on keeping our streets safer. Digital Responsibility is offering the Don’t Text and Drive Scholarship to students to raise awareness on the dangers of texting and driving. This scholarship is for students in high school, undergraduates, and graduate students. All students need to do is to submit a short essay of 140 characters or less in order to qualify. Finalists will be required to write a full-length essay of 500 to 1,000 words. However, that is okay because a little bit of hard work will pay off in the end. Not only do you have a chance at $1,500 towards your education, but your essay just might be convincing enough where it may have an impact on someone.
