Eligibility Requirements
To apply, you must be a student in training for your bachelor’s degree in nursing. Pre-dentistry and pre-medicine students may also apply. You must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher to qualify for the award, and you must be of Native American or Alaska Native descent. If you meet those requirements at this time, you may be eligible for this award.
Application Details
If you want to apply, you must fill out an application form available online. With this, you will need to submit curriculum verification, official transcripts, tuition verification, letter of acceptance by college, Indian eligibility, and faculty evaluations. Your application will be sent to a review board of Indian Health Services members, and they will determine if you should win the scholarship or not.
