To apply for the Leaders and Achievers Scholarship, you must have a 2.8 GPA or higher. You must be a full-time high school senior with a strong commitment to the community. You must live in an area serviced by Comcast, and you must show leadership abilities through participation in school activities. Your race, gender, and religion will not be considered in the nomination process, but your association with Comcast will be. You cannot be related to someone working for the company to win this award. If you can meet those stipulations, you could qualify as a nominee for this scholarship.
Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Application Details
If you want to apply for the Leaders and Achievers Scholarship, you must be nominated by a guidance counselor or principal at your school. This person must complete a form on the Comcast website, describing all of the activities you have done to make an impact on your community. There are several awards issued every year, depending on the amount of money the company has available. All you have to do is exemplify strong leadership skills to potentially earn part of it for your college education.
