Choosing a toy for a child can be a challenge. One may ask themselves if the toy is age appropriate and whether or not the child will actually be fond of it. Mission Creek Orthodontics would like to see what students believe is a good toy as a gift for an 8 year old. Mission Creek Orthodontics is an orthodontics office that helps put a smile on their patients by offering quality and friendly service. The Mission Creek Orthodontics Scholarship is open to full-time college/university students up to their junior year, as well as seniors in high school. Students may be pursuing any field of study for this scholarship. Students are asked to apply by completing a short online application and to submit an essay of up to 650 words on an educational toy that they would choose for an 8-year old child. One special student will receive a $500 scholarship headed for their college education. May 15th is the annual deadline and students are given plenty of time to create an outstanding essay for their chance at the money towards college. Choosing an age-appropriate toy is important and on top of that choosing one with an educational purpose. Mission Creek Orthodontics would like to see if a student is able to put a smile on a child’s face and in return, Mission Creek will put a smile on student’s face for winning a scholarship.
