Nurses Make a Difference Scholarship – $1,000

Nurses Make a Difference Scholarship is dedicated to helping those individuals that are also looking to help others.  They are seeking for aspiring nurses that are pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and will be awarding one student a year with a $1,000 scholarship.  Cascade Healthcare Solutions is a leader in healthcare supplies and now they are looking to support future nurses considering the fact that there is a shortage in nurses today.  Caring individuals that are looking to make a difference in the other people’s lives are welcome to apply for their chance at a scholarship towards their college education in hopes to join the nursing profession in the future.  Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate nursing program or planning to enroll to an undergraduate nursing program.  Each applicant must be over the age of 18 and must have a GPA of 3.0 or greater to be considered for the scholarship.  Students need to be legal residents of the U.S. or hold a valid student visa to apply.  This scholarship is an essay-based scholarship and a winner will be chosen based on the best-written essay on the topic.  Students need to submit their short application including their contact information and an essay of 200 to 300 words.  Students have a chance to apply every year with the annual deadline being on August 1st.  This annual scholarship program was created to help support students with attaining a college degree and to help bring new individuals into one of the most imperative professions.
