PetPlan Scholarship – $1,000

PetPlan Scholarship is an essay-based scholarship that gives college students an opportunity to prove themselves through their writing.  Not only do students have to learn to take care of their lives and their education, but those with pets have to learn all the responsibilities that come with having a pet.  Whether to feed, bathe, or walk, pets are a responsibility that teaches one to take care of another.  When it comes to taking care of education, students should grab all their opportunities at free money towards their college education.  Scholarships are opportunities that should not be missed since they can help students save thousands of dollars towards the pricey college education.  PetPlan is a provider of pet insurance that looks to protect the furry four legged friends.  PetPlan offers the best quotes for pet insurance, a virtual clinic, finding the nearest vet for your pet, information on shelters and rescues, and more.  The PetPlan Scholarship is open to all incoming college students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.  All incoming freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors in college are welcome to apply.  Whether you are pursuing a veterinary degree or even any field of study, you are eligible to apply.  Students are only required to have a 3.5 GPA or greater and to submit an essay.  Applicants will need to submit an essay of 500 to 1,000 words to get their chance at a $1,000 scholarship.  Students will have until March 31st to apply and only one student with get the $1,000 award.
