The Platt Family Scholarship Prize Essay Contest is an rewarding scholarship contest that awards three students a year with scholarship money of up to $1,500. The Lincoln Forum dedicates the website to the memory of Abraham Lincoln and the remembrance of the Civil War. They would like to assist students with achieving their college education by offering scholarships to three undergraduate students towards higher education. Scholarship money is usually sent to the institution that the student attends, however with this contest, students get a check in their name mailed straight to their door and the student may spend the money in any way they desire.
